OE User Agreement
This User Agreement governs your access to and use of the OE mobile application and related services. By creating an account, signing in, or using OE, you agree to this Agreement and the OE Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility and Account Use
- You may use OE only if you are legally permitted to use the service in your country or region.
- If your account is provided by an organization, your use may also be subject to that organization's rules, administrator settings, and retention policies.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date where the application allows you to do so.
2. Permitted Use
You may use OE for lawful communication and collaboration, including:
- Sending and receiving one-to-one and group messages.
- Managing contacts, groups, and organization directories.
- Sharing documents, images, and user-selected short media clips.
- Receiving notifications and team updates.
- Managing your profile, account settings, and collaboration preferences.
3. Prohibited Conduct
You must not use OE to:
- Violate any law, regulation, contractual duty, or third-party right.
- Upload, send, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, exploitative, hateful, or invasive of privacy.
- Share malware, phishing content, spam, unauthorized advertising, or deceptive messages.
- Impersonate another person or organization, misrepresent your identity, or interfere with account authentication.
- Access, copy, modify, reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, scan, or attack OE systems without authorization.
- Collect information from other users without a valid lawful basis and required permission.
- Use OE in a way that damages service security, reliability, reputation, or availability.
4. User Content
You retain your rights to the messages, files, images, profile information, and other content that you submit through OE. You grant OE the limited permission needed to host, transmit, store, process, display, and deliver your content for the purpose of operating and improving the service.
You are responsible for the content you submit and for making sure you have the rights and permissions needed to share it. Content may be visible to recipients, groups, organization administrators, or other users according to your actions and service settings.
5. Organization-Managed Accounts
If your account is created or managed by an organization, the organization may control account access, contacts, groups, directories, retention settings, security settings, and administrative actions. OE may follow valid administrator instructions related to the organization's workspace.
6. Privacy
The OE Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, how it may be shared, and how to contact us about privacy requests. By using OE, you acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
7. Service Availability and Changes
OE may update, modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue features to improve reliability, comply with law, protect users, or maintain service operations. We do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in every location or on every device.
8. Account Suspension or Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to OE if we reasonably believe that you violated this Agreement, created risk or legal exposure, harmed other users, misused the service, or if access is no longer authorized by your organization. You may stop using OE at any time.
9. Intellectual Property
OE, including its software, interface, trademarks, logos, design, and service materials, is protected by intellectual property and other laws. Except for rights expressly granted to you, all rights in OE are reserved. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works from OE except as permitted by law or written authorization.
10. Third-Party Services
OE may interoperate with third-party systems or service providers for functions such as hosting, storage, authentication, push notifications, diagnostics, and file handling. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. OE is not responsible for third-party services that are not controlled by OE.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OE is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free performance. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OE will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill arising from or related to your use of the service. Nothing in this Agreement limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
13. Updates to This Agreement
We may update this Agreement from time to time. When we update it, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of OE after an update means that you accept the updated Agreement, unless applicable law requires a different notice or consent process.
